Registered Manager
Mr Shashank Sharma
Mr Sharma has a Master’s degree in Social Work and has been practicing as a Social Worker and Team Manager for over 17 years. He has extensive experience within the frontline teams of Children Services, including Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub, Referral and Assessment, Child in Need/ Child Protection/Court, 0 to 25 Disability and Fostering Services. He also served as an Independent Panel Member of the Fostering and Adoption Panel for a local authority over two years.
Trained in Advanced Systemic Practice with Couples and Families, his focus is in creating nurturing environments for children and young people within the systems they are in.
As the Registered Manager of the organisation and a passion to achieve the best outcomes for children in our care, he is keen to closely work and support foster carers in this journey.

Responsible Individual
Ms Aasia Qayium
Ms Qayium has a Master’s degree in Social Work, and has held various social work positions including that of managers and senior managers within the private and government sectors in UK for over 17 years. Her experiences within children services have ranged from Child in Need/Child Protection/Court to Children in Care, Fostering, Private Fostering, Connected Carers and Special Guardianship. She has written policies, created and embedded systems and structures to improve social work practice within different organizations that she has worked with.

Over the course of her social work profession, she has undertaken many relevant courses to enhance her knowledge and skills such as, Practice Qualification 1, Practice Education, Signs of Safety, Train the Trainer, Evidence Informed Practice, Advanced Systemic Practice with Couples and Families, etc.

Having a passion to achieve the best for children and young people, she is keen to embed systems in place for seamless operations and ongoing monitoring and improvement of the service.

Director of Operations
Dr Syed Omar Hayat
Dr Hayat has many years of business experience; previously founding a technology company and taking its product from research stage to full commercialisation in multiple countries. He was also Managing Director of a pharma start-up and arranged its initial set-up.
Dr. Hayat has also served as Guardian Trustee and Director of Scott Bader Commonwealth Limited, a multinational chemical company with a trusteeship ownership structure, that reflects employee democracy and a vision to improve the world. He is a Trustee of The Gandhi Foundation & Chair of its International Peace Award Committee. He is also on the selection committee of WAFA (Water Air Food Awards).
Dr. Hayat believes that early positive intervention in children welfare is important for beneficial long-term outcomes and has helped in sponsoring schools in impoverished areas of India and Nepal. He has been drawn towards fostering for several years and sees Attuned to Children as a means to offer a larger platform in making a significant difference to the lives of children and young people.
